I got serious about bodybuilding about 8 years ago, and I've been competing for the past 6 years. I've won several regional titles and finished 5th in the Light Heavyweight Class at the 2001 Nationals.

I was born in 1973 as youngest of 4 children. I have earned a BA in Education from Mississippi State University. I first got the bodybuilding bug while I was a sophomore there. My brother David was in the military at the time and while he was stationed in Guam he took up bodybuilding. He sent photos home and he just blew me away with the gains he was making. I was on a football scholarship at the time, but I knew then that this what I wanted to do. That was 1995 and I've been training hard ever since.

My goal is to turn pro within the next 3 years. My favorite physique is Shawn Ray, but Vince Taylor is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. My wife and mother have been my biggest fans and supporters. All that I am and have I owe to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I also want to Robert Keenum for teaching me how to diet and my brother David for motivating me.
